In partnership with the Common House in New Orleans, LA, record-breaking former Division 1 collegiate basketball player, excelling sportscaster, and advocate of the power of sport, Tiffany Aidoo, hosted a WNBA watch party and happy hour to encourage members of the house and invited guests to connect through women’s basketball.

This event was an evening of good basketball between the Chicago Sky and Phoenix Mercury while encouraging WNBA fans, women in business, girl dads, and curious minds to build community around women’s basketball.

This annual event “So You Want a Career in Athletics”in conjunction with National Girls and Women in Sports Day will be hosted by Dillard University Athletics. Athletic Director Dr. Kiki Baker-Barnes has invited women from the sports industry to connect with young girls interested in our successes and challenges in the space. Additionally, the young girls will have the opportunity to be exposed to many incredible women and career pathways.
